FIRE UPDATE: During the middle of the work day on March 7th, Thomas Hammond and Son was hit by a devastating fire. By the grace of God, everyone escaped unharmed, and we were able to save more than half of our operation. Our planer mill and retail yard are still in full operation, and we will continue to provide you with the highest quality Eastern White Pine and other native species. Since the turn of the century, we have been nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains along the winding bank of the scenic Saco River. It was into this same river valley that the King of England sent his agents to mark the magnificent specimens of White Pine found here for masts for the mightiest navy of the day. In the very forest where these giants once stood, we now selectively harvest only the best Eastern White Pine logs which we carefully craft into a product specifically designed for you and your customer.
